OmniBank e-Biology
Our OmniBank e-Biology program has been designed to accelerate academic and non-profit research of human gene function by offering academic and non-profit researchers the opportunity to purchase knockout mouse lines made from our OmniBank library.Additional features and benefits of our OmniBank e-Biology program include:
- Standardized qualification protocols confirming the disruption of the trapped gene (greater than 99% success rate) summarized in a comprehensive quality control report;
- Detailed information describing the site of the insertional mutation and the retroviral gene trap construct used (including restriction map); and
- Gene specific genotyping protocols for each OmniBank clone.
- Rapid access to hundreds of previously generated knockout mouse lines, many of which have been created using homologous recombination.
We make mouse lines available under this program at fees starting at $30,000, depending upon the contract options selected. Due to commercial proprietary obligations, mouse lines for certain OmniBank embryonic stem cell clones may not be available under our OmniBank e-Biology program.
